Today we took the girls to Bass Pro Shop to see Santa. Our girls don't really remember Christmas at all. In fact when we told them how exciting it was that we got to see Santa today Kirst asked of there would be "a happy to you cake?" umm no. So we really prepped them on asking Santa for what they wanted (Kirst a Rapunzel and Audrey a Dora doll with Boots) and then he would bring it on Christmas. They were excited and well rehearsed on what to say to Santa. But naturally they froze as soon as we were face to face with him. Kirsten refused to smile let alone say anything. Audrey immediately started rubbing her belly button when we put her on his lap , but she did nod and say Dora when he asked if she wanted a Dora doll.
We walked around and looked at the fishes and other animals for about 20 minutes without the girls saying anything about Santa. Then finally when we were in the parking lot Kirsten said "Kirsten rapunzel doll" ha ha.
Tonight Kirk and I are eating a cheese ball and watching a Christmas Story, seriously what is not to love about Christmas time!
haha they are like why are you making us sit on this crazy mans lap?!? You guys are making some fun traditions I love it.
