December Eighth
Our stake is collecting various items for the Las Vegas women's shelter. They provided a list of items needed and encouraged ward members to donate. So we took the girls to Walmart last night and picked up a few things on the list and then had each girl pick out a toy to donate. Audrey picked out mater and Kirsten a mermaid Barbie. They pulled out the toys and looked at them all night saying "for friend with no toy". I really hope my girls grow up knowing the joy that comes from serving and giving to others.

That's so sweet! That is the kind of Christmas memory they will cherish the most.
ReplyDeleteAhhh they are so kind. That is such a good thing to do at a young age. Don't you love how many service opportunities there are around Christmas time?
