Draper Temple Open House

Last night my parents and youngest sister Chelsey came and stayed the night with us. My mom brought a homemade dinner with her and Riley's family came down for good food and fun.
They were here after Kirsten is usually in bed, but she stayed up playing with her cousins until 10:30. It's some sort of new record for her.

She's already preparing to be a big sister. She kept trying to give Will a drink from his sippy cup (so cute)cute cousins
Today we met Kristy and her family at the Draper Temple for the open house
A picture of the family who was there.
The wind was blowing snow straight into our faces...it was so cold.
Aren't they cute
and
they are all mine

Duck Pond at BYU

This morning Kirk's parents came over for breakfast. Kirk is designing a website for his Dad's business. Kirk and his Dad looked over pictures, other websites and decided how they wanted theirs to look....while Kirsten spent every possible second with her Nana and I did dishes.
Then Aaron called and asked us if we wanted to go to the duck pond at BYU.
Ya, the one that Kirk and I have never visited in our 3 years here.
Kirsten was bundled up and we headed over to the pond.Joriel brought bread, so the ducks liked us.
Kirsten loved the ducks.(just a little bit)

Picnic in February

So we have a little spring fever today.
All the rain and sunshine makes us want to go hiking up the canyon, play on the swings at the park, and put our feet in the bottom of bridal veil falls.
But there is still snow outside.
So today we settled for a picnic in our house. We roasted hot dogs. And ate oreos. Some of us enjoyed the oreos more than others. Our niece Brixton is staying with us this week while her parents work on their tans over the ocean in a nice cruise ship.

Ultrasound

Yesterday we had our first ultrasound for our baby.
I have had some bleeding and cramping and was worried.
But we got to see the beautiful baby...
I think seeing your baby for the first time is the most amazing thing.
The babies heart was beating strong and is just over an inch long.
As soon as the baby came up on the screen Kirsten started cheering and clapping her hands...she can't wait for her sister/brother to get here!
The ultrasound tech said the baby is measuring to be due on September 4, which is exactly to the date 18 months younger than Kirsten.
They will leave my due date on the 7th but I'm warning you, don't expect the baby until the 18th at the soonest (knowing how my babies like to stay in there).
We are so thrilled to have another baby
