Timothy is (gulp) 11 months!

Kirk and I did this incredible thing and made the cutest baby boy ever. He is more personality and fun everyday. I can not believe he will be one next month. I think there must be an error in the universe somewhere because my baby can't possibly be growing up on me. Pretty soon he will be running and I know I will never be able to keep up!
So, Timothy is 11 months. He is everywhere and into everything! I can always tell where he has been because there is a path of destruction in his wake. He cruises on every wall and piece of furniture in his line of sight. He likes to walk with help, and I love that he is so tall I don't have to bend over to help him walk!
He eats anything you can stick in his mouth and refuses to drink more than 3 bottles a day. He loves his sippy cups, especially throwing it on the floor.
He has found his way to the toilet once and Audrey makes sure we are diligent about keeping the bathroom doors shut. Timothy knows he can get a reaction from pulling his sisters hair and it's about his favorite thing ever. He has the mischievous smile down and I know when he is ready to cause trouble.
Timothy has a huge (HUGE) head and he totally uses it to his advantage. He loves to try to push the couch with his head. He does this often and the couch never moves (because the wall is behind it) but he keeps trying. It's pretty funny. He loves to throw his head back on us. As in, he sits on our lap, gets momentum going and launches his head back into our bodies. We have named it the "Tim-bomb" and he will do it on command.
He loves to chatter when it's silent and has started to say "du du" finally. He says "ma ma" when he is done and desperately wants my attention, sigh isn't that how it goes with kids.
He likes the bath for about two seconds and then wants out so he can go exploring. He is better about staying away from cords but still loves the vacuum and attacks it with furry if we ever leave it unattended.
His attitude is definitely coming out and he lets us know exactly how he is thinking. He is getting smart and knows how to get what he wants, oh dear. His sisters are his biggest advocates. Kirsten is his best friend and can always get him to smile. Audrey loves to play with him...until she doesn't. The other day she said "Mom, can you get Timothy? He is distracting me from playing!"
We love this sweet boy and are so glad he joined the family.
(I had to take his pictures while he was in his high chair eating his dinner, because that is the only place he will hold still! He sure loves Grandma's beans!)

Halloween 2013

We had such a great Halloween this year. The girls are prime ages for Halloween to be magic! The day has been anticipated for an entire year! We were all relieved to see it finally come.
The day started with a parade of costumes at Kirsten's school. It was SO cute. Afterwards I got to help with her class party. After the party I stayed an extra half hour to help. Her teacher asked me to watch the kids play outside so she could get the next activity ready. I got a duck duck goose game going and at the end of the day Kirsten said it was her favorite part, made me smile!
After lunch we made Audrey and Timothy take naps while Kirk, Kirsten, and I carved pumpkins. We had "mummies" for dinner. The "Great Pumpkin" visited and brought us the Croods! After dinner we set out to trick or treat. We live in the nicest neighborhood and it was fun to watch all the kids trick or treating. Timothy and I lasted 20 minutes and then went home to pass out candy. Timothy LOVED having the trick or treaters come by. He would sit at my feet watching them while I passed out candy and then he would stare out the door for a few minutes before crawling over and shutting the door. It was adorable!
The girls came home with a ton of candy which we enjoyed staying up way to late watching The Croods. Super fun holiday!
Best picture of the whole day
blurry, but she was the cutest kitty in the whole school!

Fall Festival

We went to the local corn maze the night before Halloween. The weather was freezing and drizzly, but there weren't any clouds and I wanted to go before the holiday was over. The kids loved it and didn't mind the weather one bit. They had so many fun activities for everyone. I can't wait to go back next year! Everyone's favorite part was the big slide that they rode the gunny sacks down. Afterwards we warmed up at Kneaders, it was such a fun night!
At least they like each other if they won't look at me!
Kirk was super happy about this, ha ha
