Cupcakes for Cancer

Last weekend we participated in a fundraiser 5k run for a 6 year old boy in our ward who has been diagnosed with cancer. Kirk ran his first 5k and finished 10th overall. The girls and I helped direct people along the race course. Kirsten was so cute standing there cheering for everyone, clapping and telling them "whoo hoo good job runnin". When she saw her dad running towards her I had to physically restrain her from running into the road after him. We had a great time at the event. They even had a train ride for the kids. I was scared to let Kirsten go on her own thinking she was too small, but Kirk said she would be ok and of course it was the highlight of her day, we couldn't wipe the smile off her face.
