Kindergarten

Kirsten started her first day of school. Her teacher is named Mrs. Parsons and she is the perfect kindergarten teacher. She actually reminds me a lot of my kindergarten teacher. Kirk gave Kirsten a blessing that morning before she left. It was one of my very favorite life moments.
Kirsten was slightly nervous but mostly excited. She loves school and can't wait to go everyday. I'm excited to see what this year brings. 

Kirk changed his flight so he could walk Kirsten to school on her first day, what a good dad he is!

She was so excited and danced around the house all morning.

She wrote her own name, ahh. Class of 2026!!!

Our house is about a 15 minute walk from school.

Audrey had to run and give Kirsten a hug while she stood in line.

Kirsten got dressed for school and declared "Aaron and Gavin will love me today." It broke her heart to find out Aaron and Gavin still live in Las Vegas.

They had to find the desk with their name on it when they came into the classroom. Kirsten looked around for a minute then stood in the same place patiently waiting. I kept trying to get her to go look for her name on another table, but nope she knew where her name was and just waited for the teacher to have the little boy (who was in her seat) move.

Ready to learn! Time to leave mom...
