Quail Lake

Saturday we spent day at a lake near St George.
We had a great time.
The water was 71 degrees...in May!
Kirsten was thrilled and would have walked across the lake if we would have let her, she was more brave than I thought she should be.
We played in the water, had a picnic, dug in the sand, and I even had a chance to read on the beach for a few minutes.
What a perfect day.

  1. That's awesome! I only went there a few times, but it is a fun place and not too far away. =) Playing in the sand is the best part!

  2. I totally agree on everything. Quail is a lot more calm then Sand Hollow. I spent an entire day at Sand Hollow Last week and the water was amazing! Spent some time on the beach then went cliff jumping. I love having two lakes near us! I got burned but it was soooo worth it.

  3. What a fun weekend! Must have been nice to read a book and soak up some sun, not to mention enjoy watching Kirsten have a blast in the sand and water. She really is destined for greatness in swimming, isn't she? Besides being an Olympic swimmer/diver, maybe she'll also excel in triathlons, especially the swimming portion! Oh, and her swimsuit is darling and looks so pretty on her, too! Love her smiles and her sandy little legs :)
