Timothy is One!

I let it happen after all. Our TimBomb is a year old. We were so excited to spend the day celebrating him. He chose to sleep in until 8 am (for the first time ever). We had a fancy new ball toy waiting for him downstairs, but of course he only wanted to play with the vacuum. We made pancakes (his favorite) for breakfast and spent the morning getting ready for his party.
We decided to have a party for family for his first birthday. We had a better turn out than we could have ever imagined. Kirk's parents, Aaron and family, and Jody and family all came. My sister Camille and family, Josh and Kevin, Brett and family, and Garrett and family all came too! We felt so loved and grateful for our family! We had baked potatoes, rolls, bbq chicken, go-gurts, veggie straws, and grapes for dinner (all of Timothy's favorite foods). After dinner we did cake because Timothy seemed ready for bed. He was only interested in the fire from the candle. He didn't touch the cake but totally demolished the cupcake we gave him. After cake we had a Timothy obstacle course. First everyone had to do a "Tim Bomb" (throw themselves backwards into a pile of pillows), Second crawl under the table, Third empty the bottom drawer of all it's contents, Fourth crawl up the stairs, and finally eat an applesauce pouch. The game was a huge success and very funny. Timothy was spoiled with gifts afterwards and that's when he finally cheered up, he knows what the best part is :) We had such a great day celebrating our favorite little boy. Thanks to all the family who supported us!
