Father's Day

Kirsten 6 days old. Standing in front the flowers Kirk bought her.
Audrey 4 days old cuddled up to her daddy. She definitely loves to cuddle with her daddy the most
Timothy 2 days old. Our son who will (hopefully) grow up to be just like his Dad
I consider myself the luckiest woman in the world to have 3 beautiful children with this incredible man. Seeing Kirk hold a newborn makes me melt like butter.
If you know a Howcroft man very well you know that there ability to make children swoon over them in uncanny. Kirk is no exception. He loves to play and wrestle with kids wherever we go. Since we started dating he was a favorite around my siblings and nieces and nephews. The first fourth of July we spent together he held his first baby, my niece Madison. I melted like butter. He was so soft and had that sweet smile on his face looking at her. I'll never forget it. Fast forward a few years later Kirk and I are married and my two year old nephew called every silver car he saw "Kirk's car." And even now the neighbor kids want Kirk to play at the park with them.
Yes, one of the very first things I knew about Kirk was that he would make a good father. And he really is. He works hard to provide a decent home and temporal things. He would often take lunch to work or go without lunch just to make sure his family was taken care of. He takes the kids to church, initiates scripture study and prayer, and regularly attends the temple so his kids know what is really important to him. He sees to it that his kids work hard so they can play hard. When he is left alone with the girls he makes sure all the chores are completed then he takes the girls hiking, swimming, or playing at the park and literally wears them out to the point that they fall asleep as soon as they sit down. There is always a child on his lap being read a book or squealing in delight because he is tickling them senseless. He is on the floor building trains or blocks. His work day is interrupted a hundred times a day with requests to print Ariel pictures, dress princess dolls, hold the baby, tell the girls they look gorgeous (in their 14th outfit of the day), calm a screaming child, or to put on Phineas and Ferb. There is so much that my husband does because he loves and care for his family. I just feel incredibly blessed to not only have children who are so much like him but to also have him as my partner in crime in raising our crazy bunch. I love you Kirk Howcroft. Thank you for having (and raising) babies with me.
