Just thought we would share a few pictures from our fathers day party today. Kirk is the guy who enjoys being a dad to the fullest. And his Howcroft girls adore him for it. Audrey's first words were "dadada" and Kirsten doesn't miss a chance to run and hug her dad when he arrives home, jump on the floor and wrestle with him, and doesn't like anyone else putting her to bed. So we decided he needed to be treated right by feeding him well. For breakfast I tried this recipe. It was such a huge success that we had it again for lunch and might just make it tradition. We bbq for dinner chicken, corn on the cob, watermelon, and raspberry lemonade. Summertime dream! Kirsten helped me make this cute cake (mostly by sticking her fingers in the frosting), we love this chocolate cake recipe. Try it. You won't be sorry.
