Garrett decides to wait until 7:00 pm to open his call so the family can be there.
Shortly after Kirk and I decide that we really want to be there

Dear Daddy:
Today I did a lot of fun things, I:
Went hot tubing with Ben and Brixton

It's been an exhausting day so far...but we have big plans for tonight so I will fill you in later.
I love you Daddy.
You are the best Daddy ever and I can't wait to see you day after tomorrow so we can play and you can make me giggle with delight.

Day One
Today was the day that I said goodbye to Kirk for the next 4 days.
Kirk went to Texas for World of Workplace (it's something his program major does every year to be recruited by employers) and I came to Vernal to be with family. We were so anxious for our vacations and preparing to be gone that we hastily said goodbyes and "see ya Saturday"'s. But as I brought all of our baggage (we literally brought the entire house) into the bedroom Kirsten and I will be staying in
I looked at the bed that I would be sleeping in by myself and
I started to get really homesick for my man. I'm going to miss his big strong arms around me tonight...I miss them as I sit here watching a movie...I don't like being a way from my man.
I don't like it one bit.
Kirk,
Kirsten and I had a great day. We went to lunch with Liz and Brixton and Brixton was really upset that you weren't with us..."where else would he be" she wondered...I agree.
You belong right by me and Kirsten.
I let Spencer and Abby babysit Kirsten on Camille's bed. She lasted for about 5 minutes before the screaming began. I don't think she understands why Abby is constantly trying to dress her and monitor her toys.
But the highlight of the day was Kirsten in the big bathtub. I know someday you are going to get us a bathtub of our own and when that day comes Kirsten is going to flip!
She is even more of a fish than we thought.
She played in the tub for 1/2 an hour before I had the heart to pull her out. She had a whole routine down...kick legs as hard as possible...flip around and attempt to crawl towards the
rubber duckies.
She's so adorable! We need to have more adorable kids
I miss you already. I hope you are having a good time in Texas.
I will be dreaming of you all night. As soon as we finish watching Little Women (Amanda is always good for chick flicks) I will brush my teeth, read my scriptures and then spend all night with you.

Aunt Camille is the BEST!
A lot of people have been really great to us, letting us borrow all sorts of baby stuff for Kirsten. My sister Camille, was especially good to us and let us borrow every toy Kirsten could ever want...including this "jumper" (for lack of a better word). Kirsten is in love with it...which makes Kirk and I love it even more. Thanks Camille you are the best!

BYU Football
The story of our byu football story starts in the middle of the summer. Kirk and I are determined to go to a byu football game this fall...since we haven't been one together and this is his final year at BYU. In August we bought tickets to the game on Oct 25..and 9 other tickets for members of my family.
Last week Kirk realizes that he has to be in Mona all day (for a fall event he is in charge of for one of his classes) the day of the game. Completely bummed. Well luckily we have great neighbors and were blessed to sit in their seats (that are way better than the seats we originally have btw) for the byu football game yesterday.
It was a cold day (it even snowed) and so we bunndled Kirsten up in lots of layers and her snowsuit.
She was not so happy about it and had this look on her face
from the time we got her ready until half way through the third quarter (despite the repeated coaxing from the man next to us) when she realized she could still move her arms...she was all smiles from there.
We had a blast...and of course the cougars won making the game even more fun.

Our Army Crawler
This is the best video I could get of Kirsten doing her new army crawl. I'm a little nervous for the day she decides to just go ahead and take off...but so excited too.
